The Serendipity Arts Festival Goa 2016, a unique nine-day festival got to a formal start with the inauguration by chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar at the historic Adil Shah Palace, Panaji.

Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces are the festival patrons. On the eve of the inauguration, industrialists and members of the festival patrons’ circle Pallavi and Shrinivas Dempo hosted a dinner for special guests at Vivanta by Taj – Fort Aguada.

The evening saw Maharana Arvind Singh Mewar, industrialists Dattaraj Salgaocar, authors, hoteliers, patrons and concierges on art in attendance.
With seven venues and over 40 commissioned projects, including exhibitions, performances and other interactive elements, the festival was an inclusive and collaborative space for art. The festival served as an opportunity for the arts – initiated as well as those who are simply curious to interact with the multiple possibilities of the art world.
