A drizzle or a torrential cloudburst, dark skies or dull weather, the monsoons give many the perfect excuse to skip their daily workouts. With the surrounding coziness and the couch, a hot cup of coffee with steaming snacks appears more inviting than the insides of an air-conditioned gym. 
Fitness levels can sink to an all-time low when the rains bless the earth. But the following tips can help keep you fighting fit this wet season. 

Try out a new indoor routine 
Body weight exercises such as push-ups, squats, lunges, planks, jumping jacks, burpees, spot running, high-knee sprints and their variations will keep your metabolism roaring while helping you trim those inches and also increase core and muscular strength.
