Fashion show with special children to enthrall Goa

Runway Inspiration, a dazzling fashion show will give fashion a new face in Goa on January 21, 2018 as rising star and fashion entrepreneur Anusha Sheikh, backed by Goa Tourism Development Corporation Limited (GTDC), will put special children in the spotlight when they take to the ramp and delight hearts at Zuri Hotel & Resort, Goa.
The show with a charitable cause is being designed exclusively by 21-year-old Sheikh who has set out creating a new distinctive approach to craftsmanship in fashion.
It is expected to be a high profile event, putting special children on the ramp for the first time in India. Professional models, Bollywood celebrities and young fashion fans will share the ramp with them. Shaikh, has an exciting line up of garments for children, and in Indo-Western and Ethnic ranges for the show.
The objective of the show is to raise funds for charity.
GTDC has supported this event to help Sheikh get other associates and create awareness for a noble cause.
The event partners are Zuri Hotels & Resorts, WHP jewelers, Kiswa Salon, Chetna School, Vinsan World, Viva Goa magazine and DJ Moin.
GTDC chairman Nilesh Cabral said, “I am extremely impressed by Anusha Sheikh’s initiative to organise a fashion show where special children will, for the first time in India, get an opportunity to be on the fashion ramp. I congratulate her for crafting this very heartwarming and thoughtful event. The GTDC is always open to supporting creativity, innovations and good initiatives with a cause. I appeal to young fashion fans in Goa to witness and support this event in large numbers and give special children more such opportunities in the years to come.”
Sheikh said, “Belonging to this modern generation, it’s a wish of every child to see themselves on the fashion platform. By giving these children that opportunity, this show shall help them see the world of glamour and limelight. They will be our young models, groomed under trainers, giving them hope and encouragement to see themselves in the happening side of society.”
