Bank of India brings customer outreach programme to Goa

Bank of India recently brought its customer outreach programme Ghar Ghar Dastak Mahotsav to Goa. The team launched a special silver coin for the bank’s multi-religious high networth customer base.

The coin was launched by chief minister Manohar Parrikar with zonal manager Prashant Naik, deputy zonal manager Subhash Phadate, assistant general manager of Campal branch Joginder Singh, chief manager of Mapusa branch Subhash Chodankar and senior resource manager Vinayak Naik. Parrikar advised the bank to take the lead in Goa’s growth.
Various activities are planned for the customer’s benefit including mass disbursements of home loans with an 8.3 per cent rate of interest per annum and zero processing charges. Customers were offered takeovers of home loans from other banks and financial institutions with a cheaper rate of interest.
Camps were also arranged by various branches to create awareness about Atal Pension Yojana, Mudra loans, gold loans and other micro, small and medium enterprise loans. Each branch was also advised to identify one village for digital banking and create awareness on the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Zonal manager Prashant Naik said, “Bank of India hopes to strengthen its relationship with the people in Goa through a strong network of 52 branches.” He has advised the branch staff teams to be proactive and focused on achieving business goals to bring economic growth as envisaged by the government.
