Grand Hyatt hosts Farmers’ Market with Karen Anand

Grand Hyatt Goa in Bambolim is hosting Goa’s first Farmers’ Market with celebrity chef and restaurant critic Karen Anand as a start to their weekly markets on Sundays during the season.

The Farmers’ Market is a pioneering initiative by Anand, who has so far successfully held 18 events across India with participation from more than 80 local restaurants, dozens of home bakers, farm produce, gourmet goodies, organic lifestyle, amateur chefs, wineries and thousands of visitors.
The Farmers’ Market aims to attract everyone from chefs, restaurants, passionate amateur cooks and people who love eating and drinking, and those looking out for a splendid time with families and friends.
General manager of Grand Hyatt Jaco Le Roux said, “Goa is one of India’s premier destinations for food and travel. When we heard of this initiative, we immediately foresaw the tremendous potential it had for Goa, which has never witnessed anything like this before. 
Anand added, “It’s a place to explore, ask questions, discover new flavours, savour a unique atmosphere and have fun!”
The market at the Grand Hyatt Goa will have fun activities for children, with live music by international music performers Jovan and Thelma. There is also a sanctioned ‘Play Area’ for chidlren so parents can indulge in shopping and time with their friends while their young ones are kept busy in the play area. Guests will also have access to the free-form outdoor swimming pool.
Anand will also launch her new line of gourmet products in Goa under the market brand KA Gourmet.
