A student of Dr K B Hedgewar High School and a resident of Neura in south Goa, Vedita KAMAT scored 97 per cent in SSC – the highest in the state – and has joined the PACE institute in Miramar, Panaji, to prepare for her future.

Your strategy for the SSC exams…
Was simple. Our teachers had guided all the students on time management. So I studied regularly and tackled the difficult things first.

You prepared for the exams…
With regular study and revision. There was nothing special.

Was it all work and no play…
Not at all! I played, watched movies and television, surfed the internet. There was no stress or tension.

During the SSC year, you were involved in extracurricular activities…
Including an art and culture competition, essay writing, quizzes and projects.
