The audio release of upcoming Konkani film ‘Enemy?’ has left every Goan anxious to watch the movie when it releases in December

Come December and Goa will see an all-Goan movie unfold on screen: Enemy? The reason it is releasing during Christmas is because the story is set during Christmas time – between December 23 to January 7.
The story is based on a Goan Catholic family, who discovers to their shock that they have lost their property to the government and their family honour is at stake. Sanjit, the soldier son, has to fight a different battle. As the tension and drama builds up, Sanjit finds himself pushed to the edge.

With its local cast and crew, the movie seeks to the touch the hearts of every Goan. Noted Goan classical musician Schubert Cotta is the music director for the film, and has artfully led the story on with his compositions.

The movie has five meaningful songs in the form of solos and trios. The album is enriched not only with meaningful lyrics, but sonorous accompaniment of musicians on the percussion, cello, clarinet, soprano saxophone, viola, trombone, flute, trumpet and other instruments. The melodious sounds led by music director Cotta are addictive and give listeners a taste of what is to come in the film.

The film stars Meenacshi Martins, Salil Naik, Antonio Crasto, Samiksha Desai and Raju Hede among others. The songs are sung by Myron Mascarenhas with Mexcy Cotta and Jesus Gomes. The meaningful lyrics have been written by Fr Ubald Fernandes, Fr Vasco Rego, Schubert Cotta and Roque Lazarus. Film producer A Durga Prasad was insistent that the entire movie be based on Goa, with cast and crew restricted to Goans only.
