Demystifying festive dress codes

Switch your colour palette this Chaturthi to hues of pink, blue and peach to get the simple yet classy festive look

Ganesh Chaturthi is the time of colourful moods and surroundings. Keeping up with mood of the festive season, one must opt for a vibrant palette. Our favourites this season are onion pinks, teal blues and hues of peaches and pink. A particular favourite silhouette for women is our classic textured floor-length anarkali with embroidered sleeves. The look is minimal and classy, yet festive and elegant.

Ladies who want to stick to the traditional palette of silhouette can opt for stitched saree ghaghra with antique embroidery on the border. The choli is modern and sophisticated, offering a fresh change from the usual look.

Young girls who are more quirky and fashion forward can wear colourful crop tops or short embroidered kurtis over dhoti pants. This look is smart and fuss free, but elegant enough for festive sensibilities. Colour shy folk can be a little more experimental by opting for an all-white saree with zardosi embroidery. The look is soft, feminine and simple.
