Do you think the ISL has changed the quality of football in the country?
The ISL has given the biggest boost to football in recent times. Football moved from the fringes of mainstream sport onto centre stage. It remains to be seen how this will evolve into training young sportsmen and women to further the excellence of a sport that enjoys worldwide interest like no other sport on the planet. Football and footballers are the Oscars of the sporting world.

Do you think the ISL has changed the quality of football in the country?
I must applaud & congratulate a lady for initiating this great football initiative , where we are able to see former international footballers , even world cuppers, something that was never imagined on Indian grounds and the lady is none other than Nita Ambani, who besides being voted as the most powerful business woman in India also got elected to be  the member of International Olympic Committee.

Do you think the ISL has changed the quality of football in the country?
ISL has improved the standard of football in India. But if we have to get the full benefit of ISL, we need to have one single large league comprising of about 15- 16 teams by merging ISL and other leading Indian football teams from across the country like East Bengal, Mohan Bagan, etc.
ISL has created a great impetus to Indian football, making it notable worldwide. However, more efforts should be made at the grass root level development. A country which was always a cricket fanatic now also serves one of the top football tournaments worldwide which is a very good thing.
