Angriya cruise makes maiden visit to Goa

Domestic luxury cruise liner Angriya recently made its maiden commercial visit to Mormugao Port, carrying 226 passengers from Mumbai.

Dr E Ramesh Kumar, who recently took charge as Mormugao Port Trust (MPT) chairman, visited the cruise ship with deputy chairman G P Rai, and heads of the departments.

The dignitaries were extended a warm welcome on board and received by captian of the ship Irwin Sequeira, managing director of Angriya Sea Eagle Pvt Ltd Capt. Nitin Dhond, chairman of Angriya Sea Eagle Pvt Ltd Kiran Thakur, and directors Sarvesh Dhond and Leena Kamat Prabhu.

Capt. Sequeira escorted the chairman and MPT officals to the various areas of the cruise ship and briefed them about the technical details and facilities available.

MPT’s traffic manager Jerome Clement briefly addressed the group on behalf of the port management, and extended greetings to Capt. Sequeira, officers and crew. He assured all logistical support to the cruise liner for a successful run on the Mumbai-Goa sector.
