Bengal-Shantiniketan Kantha , Dhakai Jamdani, TelanganaPochampalli, Gadwal Fabrics, Andhra Pradesh hand printed Kalamkari, Zari border Mangalgiri and Chirala & Uppada, Assam-Muga, Bihar-Tussar, Kosa and Banarasi Jamawar, Brocket, Jamdani, Punjab-Patiala Phulkari Karnataka, Tamilnadu in silks & Cottons weaves available in different stalls, Customers will find a number of stalls are selling home furnishing like Block Printed bed covers, bed sheets, Gudhari, Quality Dari Rugs, mat, runner and doormats, In Exhibition are displaying a range of precious and semi- precious stone studded ornaments like Jhumka in black metal, Jointless Glass Bangle and Chunky neck pieces in real Hyderabadi Pearls. Due to COVID-19 Pandemic a large number of artisans and weavers have become unemployed since the month of March due to the Lock down, all events like fairs and exhibitions were closed. So, they were facing very financial crisis. Many were on the verge of starvation. Because they are depended on sale their own artifacts through said events and nowadays there are no employment in rural and remote areas. This exhibition is offering their bread and butter. After lockdown they are getting business and come back smile into the lives of them who are waiting for this moment, they hope they get rid of financial crises and their live will be normal. We are very thankful to administrative authority of Panaji, Goa who granted permission and given golden opportunity to us. This Exhibition is absolutely will with your ethnic weaves and print. The exhibition is organized by our society for promoting weavers and artisans from different parts of India, the objective of the Samiti is provide market to artisans and weavers giving platform to sale their artifact to customer who fond them. In this exhibition more than 80 stalls and 16 state have displayed their products. Further, we are strictly following all COVID-19 prevention & health protocol guideline as issued by MHA, Govt of India and Local Administration of Panaji. Daily sanitize and maintain social distance in campus. The exhibition is run at Kala Academy Goa, Panaji, till 22nd February 2021 timing 10:30 am to 9:00
