Zuari organises first Jai Kisaan Top Achievers’ Symposium
Zuari Agro Chemical Ltd, a leading manufacturer and marketer of fertilisers and agri-inputs, organised their first ever Jai Kisaan Top Achievers’ Symposium (TAS), a meeting of top achievers (dealers/ transporters/ carrying & forwarding agents) from its primary marketing regions at Cidade De Goa recently. The firm’s top management interacted with the participants and addressed their concerns.
Managing Director Suresh Krishnan apprised the audience of the company’s investment for modernisation of its plants at Goa, setting up of new facilities, aggressive backward integration projects abroad, and the company’s venture into alliances with leading overseas manufacturers to augment its
agri-inputs portfolio.
President of Agri Business Naveen Kapoor said, “For a long time, we have been contemplating on holding a meeting of our leading partners. With the inaugural edition of Jai Kisaan TAS being held, such a meeting will be held around the same time every year.”
He also announced that the company will soon launch its brand of single super phosphate, Jai Kisaan Super 16, and two new grades of water soluble fertilisers – Starter and Booster.
Zuari Agro Chief General Manager of Sales B K Kinekar took the audience through the last four years of changes in the industry and how the attendees have contributed to the company over this period. He said, “Going forward, there will be more farmer focused activities and your participation is crucial in creating demand for about 10 per cent more than the sales plan.”
The meeting ended with prizes and certificates presented to the top achievers from each region.
