Manovikas School begins golden jubilee celebrations
Manovikas English Medium School recently inaugurated an exhibition to mark the beginning of its golden jubilee celebrations.
The chief guests at the event were founder members of the school who inaugurated the exhibition with secondary school principal Sranonee Thakar, primary school principal Pallavi Buyao and pre-school principal Brenda Bhandary.
Manovikas Trustee Charmaine Barreto welcomed the guests, followed by a Konkani melody orchestrated by the school music teacher and students. Founder director of Manovikas English Medium High School Therese Almeida gave a brief history and evolution of the school which was followed by a special performance by pre-primary school students and special children. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by trustee D S Prashant.
The exhibition, open until January 24, 2019, looks back, pays tribute, honours and celebrates the school’s journey and aims to inspire new developments in education.
