Soirée for Success
Viva Goa and Media Promotions’ Goa Food and Hospitality Expo 2018 recently organised a hospitality networking soirée for hospitality and tourism professionals at Cidade de Goa, Dona Paula.
In attendance was chief guest – renowned installation artist and founder of Museum of Goa (MOG) Dr Subodh Kerkar, as well as director of Tourism Menino D’Souza, general manager of Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) Gavin Dias, president of the Travel and Tourism Association of Goa (TTAG) Savio Messais and general managers of five- and four-star hotels across the state.
Dr Kerkar touched upon the inspirations that forced him to drop a career in medicine and become an artist. He also urged guests to visit Museum of Goa, popularly known as MOG, at Saligao to see the various installations that depict heritage stories of Goa.
Editor and publisher of VIVA GOA and director of Media Promotions Kedar Dhume said, “Viva Goa has been a part of numerous initiatives to get the captains of the hospitality and tourism industries together, from awards like the Viva Goa Hospitality Awards to the Goa Food & Hospitality Expo and so on.”
