Toyota names Sharayu No 1 dealer in customer service in India
Goa’s Sharayu Toyota showroom in Verna completed 13 years of sales, service and customer relations, expanding from a handful of staff to 1,400 across the group.
Back in 2001, the Sharayu Toyota showroom was inaugurated at Verna by the then Union Defence Minister Sharad Pawar. The Chairman and Managing Director of Sharayu Toyota Shrinivas Pawar’s vision to start a greenfield project was ably supported by Executive Director of Sharayu Group and CEO of Sharayu Toyota Amarsinh Patil. It saw the showroom opening its doors with only Toyota’s famous Qualis on the shelf.
From the sales of only 200 units of Qualis in the first year of operation to around 1,100 units of all products in the last calendar year, Sharayu Toyota has expanded to six outlets in Goa as well as Maharashtra. Between January and December this year, it is expecting trends clocking 1,300 units with strong sales of the Etios and Liva.
Patil said, “In the journey of 13 years, we have had opportunity to lead the tables on many occasions and win awards be it sales, service and customer relations. All in all, a good package of effective leadership and team work. Our staff strength, from just around 50, has already reached 1,400 across the group with a family of around 8,500 satisfied customers in Goa.”
As Sharayu Toyota continues to grow from strength to strength, its efforts to ensure quality and customer
satisfaction have not gone unnoticed.
In a recent survey conducted by Toyota of its dealerships all around the country, Sharayu Toyota Colvale was awarded the No 1 dealership in Customer Satisfaction while the Verna showroom honoured with the number four rank in Customer Satisfaction, which was undoubtedly a proud moment for the Sharayu Toyota management.
“We are confident that our successful customer satisfaction scores will enable us to increase our sales volume,” Patil added.
