Goan writer Ketaki Manish Salkar recently released her book, ‘Hum Naa Tumhe Bhulayenge’, a musical journey of legendary music director C Ramachandra, to commemorate his birth centenary year.

The book was released by director of the National Film Archive of India at Pune Prakash Magdum at the auditorium of the century-old Bhandarkar Orient Research Institute.

Well-known cine writer, interviewer and critic Shrimati Sulabha Ternikar has written the foreword for the book, while cine-music scholar and music programme presenter Usman Shaikh annotated the book during the event.

The artwork on the cover was  designed by the author’s sister Damayanti Ghanekar. A poster was  also unveiled by Kothrud MLA Medha Kulkarni during the book release.

The ceremony witnessed two celebrations: the birth centenary year of C Ramachandra and the 75th birthday of the author’s father Padmakar Yashwant Joshi, retired road transport officer who was also a close friend of the legendary music director. The author gifted the book to her parents as a souvenir.

Corporator of Kothrud Jayant Bhave, senior political academic Abhay Deshpande, and former Indian badminton national player Nandu Natekar were also present.
