Goa’s anti-tobacco organisation hails ban on e-cigarettes

he National Organisation for Tobacco Eradication (India) recently honoured Union minister of State for finance Anurag Thakur, representative of the finance department of central governments for banning e-cigarettes throughout India.

The organisation thanked chief minister Dr Pramod Sawant for facilitating the honour.

Among those present was chairman of the Goa Cancer Society and noted industrialist Shrinivas Dempo. The organisation handed over a memorandum to Thakur addressed to Union Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

General secretary of the organisation Dr Shekhar Salkar thanked all those who supported them in this endeavour.
