Magsons opens grand store at Umiya Mercado, Benaulim

Retail supermarket chain Magsons recently launched another store at Umiya Mercado on the Margao-Varca highway in Benaulim. The Mercado mall is a premium retail destination in Margao and means ‘market place’ in Portuguese.

Spread across 56,000 square feet, this is South Goa’s biggest mall. It is the second offering of the Magsons Group in Margao, the first being the store at Fatorda which, as is this one, been partnered with the dynamic Carlos and Faye Colaca team of F&C ventures. 

Magsons Mercado features a modern ambience and offers its customers premium offerings in food and beverages as well as the best quality of fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh fish, fresh poultry, fresh meats, freshly baked and prepared breads, snack foods and a wide variety of cheese, cold cuts, frozen vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods, breakfast cereals, staples and an entire section of local and imported chocolates and gifting products.

Soon to be introduced will be a fully-stocked liquor section. The store also has a dedicated section of ‘free foods’, which includes a diversity of gluten-free, lactose-free, sugar-free products, and organic foods.

The store was soft-launched on Dussehra and was inaugurated by Hasumati Maganlal along with a number of dignitaries and family members.

Mercado mall is also home to household names, including Sudio, Super99 store, and Level3 among others and provides ample road side and basement parking .
