Angriya returns for new season
Angriya, India’s first domestic cruise ship, opened its sailing season from September 30, 2019 with its debut voyage from Mumbai to Goa. A calendar for all sailings has been released on its website www.angriya.com and other social media and travel platforms.
Reviving the Mumbai-Goa sea route after a gap of three decades and providing an alternative mode of fun and experiential travel, Angriya completed more than 175 voyages last season, from its launch in October 2018 to May 2019, providing a fantastic sea faring experience to more than 50,000 passengers from India and abroad.
Dedicated to the memory of the first admiral of the Maratha army Sarkhel Kanhoji Angre, the vessel boasts added features and facilities this season and passengers are promised a magical experience of the Arabian Sea, while pampering their taste buds with exemplary cuisine and a host of ‘at sea activities’.
Angriya sails every alternate day from Mumbai to Goa and back on a 14-hour voyage from sunset to sunrise, offering an unmatched outward-looking experience unlike any other Indian cruise ship, fused with live entertainment and a unique infinity pool on board. Living up it to its new ‘Live the Sea magic’ tagline, Angriya endeavours to create magical memories of voyages, as part of a 2019 to-do bucket list, whether with family or business.
