Iskcon celebrates Jagruti 2019

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (Iskcon) recently celebrated the Festival of Spiritual Awakening called Jagruti 2019 in collaboration with Kala Academyat the Dinanath Mangeshkar hall, Panaji. The festival was inaugurated by internationally-acclaimed spiritual leader His Holiness Radhanath Swami Maharaj, with additional solicitor general of India Atmaram Nadkarni. Chairman and managing director of ALCON Anil Counto Enterprises Anil Counto,  managing director of Hare Krishna Metallics Sandeep Agarwal and editor and publisher of Viva Goa Kedar Dhume. His Holiness Radhanath Swami Maharaj discussed “Life was better when apples and berries were just fruits” on the first day while renowned motivational and spiritual speaker HG Radha Gopinath Das spoke about “Churning the Nectar of Life” the following day. The festival was attended by enthusiastic devotees and the general public. Iskcon also organised a six-day foundation course for beginners  Journey of Self Discovery . The course is well-designed and structured to give a systematic and scientific presentation on the essence of the Bhagavad Gita.
