Summertime happiness

Summers may seem sticky and hot with the sweltering heat, but for children it is the most exciting time of the year as they have a long school break. This is the time when they can have so much fun, do what they want, sleep late and go out on holiday. VIVA GOA speaks to a few children on how they plan on spending their summer vacation.

What extracurricular activities are you looking forward to this summer vacation?
I am keen on learning something exciting and adventurous. I want to learn kayaking this summer vacation. I would also like to visit a new place this vacation to add to my travel diary.

Which is your favourite summer holiday destination?
Dubai is my favourite holiday spot because it has a lot of activities for me like ice skating, I Fly, Kidzania, skiing lessons at Snow World and much more. It has the world’s largest indoor snow park with bobsledding, tobogganing, chairlifts and penguins in addition to ski and snow boarding. Also, my friend told me that Umm Suqeim’s Kite Beach in Dubai has very good kayaking and paddle boarding activities.
