All-new BMW 7 Series launched
The all-new BMW 7 Series was launched recently in Pune in the presence of director of marketing at BMW India Frank Schloeder, renowned fashion designer Suneet Varma, managing director Vishal Agarwal and Shweta Agarwal Sachin.

The all-new BMW 7 Series is locally produced at the BMW Plant in Chennai. It is available in India in diesel and petrol variants and can be ordered at BMW dealerships. Managing director Agarwal said that the BMW 7 Series has been recognised as the world luxury car of the year last month at New York International auto show. He added that the feedback received from all the attendees was extremely encouraging. With its many technical innovations, including gesture control, touch command, sky lounge, wireless charging and laser lights, there can be no doubt that the new BMW 7 Series will receive excellent response in our markets.
The BMW 7 Series is available in two distinct design schemes – M Sport and Design Pure Excellence. M Sport celebrates sporty styling and interiors while Design Pure Excellence indulges you to move in style with elegant contours and luxurious features.
The car is also available in two diesel variants – the BMW 730Ld Design Pure Excellence and the BMW 730Ld M Sport which are locally produced. The BMW 730Ld Design Pure Excellence is also available as a Completely Built-up Unit (CBU) which offers customers the choice of having a diesel engine and individualising it with optional equipment and customisations from BMW Individual. It is also available in two petrol variants – the BMW 750Li Design Pure Excellence and the BMW 750Li M Sport. They are imported as completely built-up units and can be individualised with optional equipment and customisations from BMW Individual.
BMW celebrating 100 years BMW Group celebrated its centenary with the tagline ‘the next 100 years’. “At the BMW Group, we are always on a quest for the best solution; it’s part of our DNA,” Harald Krüger, chairman of the board of management of BMW AG, said at the centenary event in Munich last month. “It’s also the spirit of our collaborations, a recurring theme that permeates our corporate and leadership culture.”
To mark its centenary, the BMW Group is also enhancing its commitment to social responsibility. The capital of its foundation, BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt, will be increased by €50 million (`3.7 billion) to a total of €100m (`7.5bn). In addition, annual donations will be made to support project work.
In 2016, this financing will amount to another €5m (`379m). Further financing will be provided by major shareholders Stefan Quandt and Susanne Klatten, who will support project work with an additional €30m (`2.2bn).
The BMW 7 series will be available in Goa at the BMW Goa showroom at Verna Industrial Estate, Verna. BMW models, test drive of vehicles and service are available at the showroom.
