The Leela Goa holds coastal clean-up drive

The Leela Goa participated in International Coastal Cleanup Day this year, a day established by non-profit environmental advocacy group Ocean Conservancy which works to help protect the ocean from the detrimental effects of plastic waste.

Every year tons of garbage winds up in the oceans with a huge percentage composed of plastic waste material. The employees at The Leela Goa conducted an annual coastal clean-up drive to do their bit in safeguarding the environment.
