Datsun unveils new GO, GO+ models
Datsun India recently launched the Go hatchback and its seven-seater version, the Go+, at its showroom in Verna. The vehicles were unveiled by deputy director of Transport Gurudas Narvenkar.
Each vehicle comes with 28 new features including upgrades in features as well as style and quality. Prices for the Go start from `3.29 lakh up to `4.89 lakh, whereas the Go+ commands a price tag of `3.83 lakh to `5.69 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Both cars are now available in five variant choices each instead of the earlier four.
The feature list will see new additions in terms of segment-first anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), brake assist, power windows, electric mirror adjusts, rear parking sensors, dual front airbags and rear window wipers. Most standard safety features will bring the Go on par with its rivals.
Bookings are already open and available at all dealerships for an initial payment of `11,000.
A M Ventures, Nissan dealers for Goa since 2011, began its journey in Verna with a 3S facility spread over an acre. With the launch of Datsun in early 2014, A M Ventures has expanded its network with two additional sales outlets in Porvorim and Ponda and is also in the process of opening a service facility in Porvorim, which reportedly will be operational from November this year.
The partnership firm is run by Tomas Menezes and his two daughters Lisa and Lara. Recently, large amounts have been invested to bring in professionals to steer the dealership in the right direction and to strengthen its core goal which is customer and employee satisfaction.
