Governor inaugurates SBI ATM at Raj Bhavan Goa
Governor Satya Pal Malik recently inaugurated an automated teller machine (ATM) at Raj Bhavan installed by State Bank of India (SBI).
He appreciated SBI for setting up the ATM facility which will
benefit Raj Bhavan staff. He also urged
SBI to maintain a good rapport with its customers as it is one of the
only financial institutions that can
extend support to the needy to set up
their ventures and sustain livelihood.
He termed the opening of the ATM a step towards digitisation at
Raj Bhavan. Secretary to the governor Rupesh Kumar Thakur said the opening of
an ATM was a long-pending demand of Raj Bhavan staff and it has now become a
reality. He also said that the Raj Bhavan is entirely going cashless in its daily
financial matters.
SBI deputy general manager Naveen Kumar Gupta and Dona Paula
branch manager LataMashelkar were present.
