Queenie Singh, former Miss India and style icon of Mumbai, is more than just a beauty and socialite. As a model-turned-celebrity jewellery designer, her creations have adorned some of the world’s most famous people, including Hilary Clinton and the Queen of Morocco.
She has also designed for Miss Universe Lara Dutta and Bollywood stars like Malaika Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Sushmita Sen, Shilpa Shetty and Amrita Arora. Hollywood celebrity Jade Jagger also wears her jewellery.
Her brand, ‘Jewels By Queenie’ has an exquisite line of hand-made creations, where all the pieces are embellished with stones; semi-precious and precious. “I closely follow fashion, which is why I think its brilliant to show jewellery with its fashion essence,” says Queenie.
Jewels by Queenie has an amalgamation of fine jewellery with high fashion. Queenie, who promises something for every woman, believes that one’s personality is expressed through one’s jewellery. She has therefore, created jewellery which ranges from contemporary to ethnic, chic to heavy, precious to semi-precious – timeless and trendy. She adds, “I have created a variety of styles keeping in mind the most important factor – budgets. It’s for every woman who want to be fabulous and moreover, feel fabulous!”
