Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla launch new label AJSK Gulabo, Assagao
The House of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla has a brand new label, titled AJSK Gulabo, located in Goa at Assagao. Gulabo is a luscious celebration of natural fabrics, fluid silhouettes and fabulous style which exudes simplicity.
“We are delighted to announce the arrival of our new label AJSK Gulabo. It is an ode to the iconic character, Gulabo in Pyaasa, essayed by the even more iconic Waheeda Rehman. Her sensual charm, strength of character, ethereal saadagi and absolute romance, thrill us. This is our homage to her spirit and beauty – 21st century style,” said the duo. A first look at the debut collection reveals that it is a breath of fresh and fabulous fashion.
The focus is on a feast of silhouettes in pure cotton, in shades of white. Delicious detailing and motifs accent the garments, giving them a sassy attitude. The impressive collection includes dresses, tunics, kaftans, kurtas and dhotis.
