Studying for Class 12 has been casual and just another year at school for Sanika Amonkar, a student of PACE at Dempo Trust Higher Secondary school of Science. The motivation of her parents and teachers fetched her 95.5 per cent in the HSSC science stream exam, making her a state topper
Your strategy for the HSSC exams…
I created a fresh time table for myself every morning, depending on how much work I needed to complete. Every day is different, and everyone’s needs are different.
I followed a strict timetable a month before the exams and followed it to the best I could. Making a timetable actually gives you this little push to complete all your tasks and it helped me a lot. That was my only strategy.
On balancing studies and free time…
Absolutely not! In fact, I think my whole experience in Class 12 was quite different to that which students usually have.
On some days I didn’t study at all, and instead I used my time to relax and go out with friends, and engage in my hobbies. I attended almost all social events because I recognised the importance of not studying too much, and knowing when you have done enough.
