hotels and resorts in Goa are regularly recognised for their excellence and customer service at national and international levels. When VIVA GOA supported by Goa Tourism decided to honour the best in hospitality in the state, the whole industry turned up to support and cheer their peers
Palm-fringed beaches, laid-back life and warm hospitable people are the hallmarks that set Goa apart from the rest of India. Over the years, it has turned from hippie hangout to one of the most favoured destinations of travellers from around the world.
In this regard, hotels, restaurants and other services play a key role in ensuring visitors enjoy a memorable
and comfortable stay, with an eagerness to return time and again.
Viva Goa, in collaboration with Goa Tourism, sought to honour the players who keep the flag flying high through their efforts in hospitality. The VIVA GOA Food, Travel & Hospitality Awards – decided through a combination of voting and evaluation – was held last month amid much pomp at the Grand Hyatt Goa in Bambolim to pay tribute to those who contributed to making Goa one of the world’s best travel destinations.
