Limited edition Goa Kit Kat launched
Through a unique initiative between Goa Tourism and Nestlé India, a limited edition Kit Kat Travel Break Pack was launched by Goa Tourism Development Corporation chairman Nilesh Cabral, Nestlé India’s senior vice president of corporate affairs Sanjay Khajuria, Kit Kat factory manager Jagdeep Marahar, corporate affairs manager Sanjay Bhandari and others.
The new tin travel break pack showcases lesser known travel locations of Goa and will be manufactured only in Goa for supply to the entire Indian market.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, Nestlé India has been carrying out various activities in the country mainly in the areas of nutrition, health and wellness, water, and rural development to help enhance the quality of life and contribute to the healthier future of society. Nestlé India also joined hands with Goa Tourism and Drishti to train 1000 lifeguards, cruise crew, beach cleaning staff and watersport operators across Goa.
Cabral said, “We completely support the twin initiatives of Nestlé India to launch Goa Tourism KitKat Travel Break Pack as Goa is a popular holiday destination and tourists think of Goa for short or long breaks from their hectic schedules. Similarly, Goa is one of the top beach tourism destinations in the country and is popular with both domestic as well as international tourists. Due to such large volumes of tourists, upgrading the skills of those who manage the beaches becomes even more important. We are happy that Nestlé India and Drishti are taking this initiative to help improve tourist experiences on our beaches.”
