Bike rental aggregator Lemiride launched in Goa
Lemiride, a bike rental aggregator platform focusing on experiential travel, was recently launched in 18 locations including Goa. To mark this event, a networking session was held at the Goan Room, Dona Paula, Goa, attended by stakeholders from various travel related ventures.
Lemiride is promoted by entrepreneurs Preetesh Rane and Chirayu Mishra. They primarily serve two types of customers: those who rent for travel and others who rent for commute within cities.
Co-founder Preetesh Rane said, “Lemiride is my dream project, an idea that I have been nurturing since I started traveling. I rented a bike on my first solo trip from Ahmedabad to Kutch and the bike stopped due to low fuel. I was flabbergasted by the experience. Over the next six years, I travelled across 22 states of India renting bikes and experiencing the business first-hand.”
Co-founder Chirayu Mishra added, “Lemiride is a platform for people who share the same passion for travel as the entire team at Lemiride. We want to be a go-to brand for people wanting to experience the world differently.”
Using Lemiride, one can book a bike of your choice, anytime, in 18 locations across India. So, it’s like Ola on two wheels minus the driver.
Its customer experience doesn’t stop there. The platform provides suggestions and tips to customers enabling them to have an offbeat experience. Lemiride is currently present in 18 places across India, including Goa, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Manali, Leh, Lucknow, Kolkata, Guwahati and Bangalore among others. Lemiride is at the intersection of the travel, technology and mobility ecosystem.
It plans to expand its reach to 40 cities over the next year and rent out at least 5,000 bikes per month by the turn of the year. It is also planning to engage and collaborate with adjacent industries in the experiential travel arena including homestays, tents, local food, trekking and offbeat journeys growing into a complete travel solution for the modern youth.
