VIVA GOA and Media Promotions Pvt Ltd recently organised a hospitality networking soirée for tourism professionals at Cidade de Goa as part of the Goa Food and Hospitality Expo 2017.
General managers of leading hotels as well as, tourism and hospitality professionals from across the state attended the event. The star guest was India’s first and only woman commando trainer of Goan origin

Dr Seema Sinari Rao spoke of her perseverance in achieving her goal in a male-dominated profession, and discussed stress management and its role in today’s world. She, her daughter and general manager of Cidade de Goa Neeta Brid were felicitated by Ashok Menon. He said, “Dr Seema Sinari Rao and her daughter are examples of women empowerment in today’s world. Her story is an inspiration to young women and men. It makes me want to also learn what commandos do, as she has taught me that age is never a barrier to learning something new.”
General managers of Grand Hyatt Goa Jaco Le Roux and Taj Exotica Vincent Ramos spoke on this ocassion. Neeta Brid ensured that all her peers enjoyed the evening. The evening was accompanied by soulful music by the Valentinos and a scrumptious buffet put together by the team of Cidade de Goa.
