Parrikar works out at Norbert’s new gym
While it is normally Manohar Parrikar who is seen dashing off instructions, the tables were turned with the Chief Minister receiving instructions from fitness expert Norbert D’Souza when he inaugurated the new Nobert’s Fitness Studio at St Inez, Panaji.
The new gym, spread over three floors and 500 square metres, is equipped with 40 cardiovascular machines (treadmills, elliptical, rowers, and stationary bikes) and 35 weight-training stations, could possibly be the biggest in Goa. Health Minister Laxmikant Parsekar and Vice Chairman of GSIDC Dr Pramod Sawant were also present. Trying their hands at the cardio equipment and displaying their fitness, Parrikar and Parsekar invited Goans to make the best use of such facilities to better their health.
