Heartfelt farewell!
It was a nostalgic moment for Aldeia de Goa project director Brigadier (retd) S C K Puri when he was presented with a replica of the majestic entrance gate of the premium real estate project on his recent retirement.
The memento was presented to him by residents of Aldeia de Goa, during his farewell ceremony at Grand Hyatt Goa.
Brigadier Puri traced his two-decade journey with the Dynamix group projects in Goa, during which time he oversaw the blossoming of two premium projects – Aldeia de Goa and Grand Hyatt Goa. He thanked the management of Dynamix Group particularly managing director Vinod Goenka for the trust shown in him and his whole hearted support. The war veteran, who saw action in 1965 and 1971, joined the Mumbai-based Dynamix Group immediately after his retirement from the army 25 years ago, and was made head of the Aldeia de Goa project.
On behalf of the residents, senior advocate Vinay Bhasin said that Brigadier Puri was the heart and soul of Aldeia de Goa, and that the residents would appeal to Dynamix Group to name the entrance ‘Puri Gate’.
General manager of Grand Hyatt Jaco Le Roux said that Brigadier Puri has been his pillar of strength and a guiding torch at the hotel. Residents of Aldeia de Goa along with senior management of Dynamix Group and Grand Hyatt Goa celebrated the evening with Brigadier Puri and his wife Renu.
Narender Shastri, Col Pradeep Sodhi and Pravin Fernandes-, among others represented the Dynamix management at the party.
