Salman Khan launches new Bigg Boss season in Goa

ndian reality TV game show Bigg Boss returned for its 12th season with a grand launch in Goa, breaking from the usual norm of an event at its dedicated house in Lonavala.

The press conference in Goa saw show host Salman Khan arrive by speed boat and kick off the event with a dance performance. This season’s theme is ‘vichitra jodis’ (weird couples), and reports suggest there are around 21 contestants, including five pairs, five solo contestants and six solo celebrity participants.

Among these are Srishty Rode, Dipika Kakar, Shaleen Bhanot, Ssumier Pasricha, Subuhi Joshi, adult star Danny D and Goan favourite Scarlett M Rose. At the launch, Khan introduced real-life couple participants Indian television star Bharti Singh and husband Haarsh Limbachayaa.

He divided the journalists present at the press conference into pairs and played a few quirky games with them, before answering questions about the show. He quipped, “Earlier people used to ask me when I am getting married. Now people ask if I am hosting Bigg Boss. I think I will marry Bigg Boss!”
